EDGAR DIPA
Named for the “Master of the Macabre,” Edgar Allen Poe, as a tribute to his aptly-named short story ‘Hop Frog.’ We hope Edgar amuses you as much as he has us, but stay on his good side ... because much like in the story, this hoppy little frog bites back! Edgar IPA has been a fav staple at the Bullfrog since the beginning - a very hop-forward beer brimming with a notable citrus character, stonefruit aroma, and the expected bold bitterness of a modern American Double IPA.    8%ABV
  
THE GAVEL HEFEWEISEN
A classic German-style ale, translating to "yeast wheat." Partly cloudy with a slight aroma and taste of banana and bubblegum. Very refreshing. Brewed for our friends at Gavel Video, LLC!    5.6%ABV

TANK GURL IPA
This year's version is a delighfully easy-drinking, lower ABV IPA hopped with The Pink Boots Society's curated blend of Cashmere, Ahtanum, Citra, Loral, and Sabro hops!   5.5%ABV
 
APRICOT WHEAT
TAn old Bullfrog classic now seeing limited production. Brewed with apricot puree, this beer is slightly sweet and
fruit-forward. Delightfully refreshing!   6%ABV

SABRO SINGLE-HOP IPA
Session IPA brewed with Sabro hops and late hop additions, offering an oaty body with tropical, tangerine,
and coconut notes.    4.6%ABV
 
BILLTOWN BLONDE
This lightly colored ale has a delicate floral aroma and flavor reminiscent of Williamsports first breweries, clean and crisp with just a touch of lingering sweetness leading to a dry, balanced finish.   6%ABV
 
PASSIONFRUIT AMERICAN WHEAT
Brewed with passionfruit puree, this beer is slightly sweet, fruit-forward, and surprisingly refreshing!    6.5%ABV
 
MONK DUNKEL
A classic dark, rich, German-style lager with a complex bready, malty character. Roasty, toasty and delicious!    5.6%ABV

CHILL PILS
Our classic and proven summer sipper, leveled up and exclusively hopped with Nelson Sauvin, New Zealand's premier and elusive hop varietal.   4.5%ABV
 
JAMMEDWICH    
(FRUITED OATMEAL MILK STOUT)
Dark and alluring. Roasted grain and ample flaked oats contribute greatly to this medium-bodied stout.
Rested on peanut butter powder and red raspberries.   7%ABV
 
HELLBENDER RED ALE
A perfect balance between light hop-forward beers and dark, roasty ales. A portion of sales go to preservation of the Eastern Hellbender, Pennsylvania's State Amphibian.   5%ABV
 
DAM BEER
 (VIENNA LAGER)
Possessing a rich, ruddy hue with a slight malty sweetness on the nose and tongue, this classic lager is
a beer done right.  Cheers!   6%ABV

SHADY HOBBIT BARLEYWINE
Featuring Simcoe hops for structure, with luscious and ample notes of dark fruit and balanced malty sweetness.  11.5%ABV
 
LE ROAR GRRRZ BRAMBLE

Our award-winning & world-renowned Le Roar Grrrz wild ale ... a time-intensive, barrel-aged sour beer (Gueuze/Lambic), conditioned on black & red raspberries and keg-conditioned to perfection (3-4 years per batch). A rare treat.   7.2%ABV
 
 PINEAPPLE PUNCH
Tank-aged, young wild ale rested on pineapples. Slightly funky and uber-refreshing.  6.8%ABV
 

SAISON ROUSSANNE
Belgian-inspired, wild-fermented ale with Roussanne grape juice and must. Aromatic, rustic, tart, and quenching.   6.3%ABV
 
CIDER MELON
Dry and tart, crisp and quenching. Featuring apples sourced from Beechwood Farms, fermented on our house wild yeast blend, and finished on fresh watermelon.    6.3%ABV
 
FARMHOUSE BLACK CURRANT WHEAT
Tart, refreshing wheat ale rested on loads of fresh black currant fruit.   6.5%ABV
 

WATER TOWER SOUR WITH CHERRY
Foudre-aged (18 months) golden ale, re-fermented & further conditioned with Lakota cherries for an additional 3 months.
7.5%ABV
 
WATER TOWER SOUR WITH APRICOT
Foudre-aged (18 months) golden ale, re-fermented & further conditioned with apricot for an additional 3 months.  7.5%ABV
 
BARREL-AGED BLACK CURRANT CIDER
A fruit-forward, sweet, tart cider spontaneously fermented with loads of black currants.
Semi-dry with a beautiful rosey blush.  6.5%ABV

"Blackcurrants are wondrous fruits. Lusciously tart and piquant, they taste like raspberries mixed with passionfruit. This intricate flavor makes them ideal for infusing into beer, as traditional Belgian brewers discovered when they blended the berries into Lambic Sours. But for American brewers, there’s one glaring issue: this delicious fruit is banned in the United States. Apparently American pine trees are not okay with blackcurrants’ particular genetic makeup. And when those European fruits grow wild, they decimate pine forests at alarming rates.
 
This fact didn’t stop Pennsylvania’s Bullfrog Brewery. These American Sour Ale pioneers had already infused raspberries, cherries, and strawberries into their beers. They had already broken into Sour stardom with Le Roar Grrrz, the #6 BA-rated Gueuze in the World on a list dominated by Belgian masters Cantillon and 3 Fonteinen. But Bullfrog is obsessed with creating authentic examples of this intricate European style, and they felt like their line-up was missing a classic flavor. So they found a way to get these juicy berries into their barrels, and finally released a blackcurrant version of Grrrz into the wild.
 
Behold, my Lambic-loving friends: Le Roar Grrrz Cassis! Bullfrog’s impeccable base beer is a balanced, complex blend of spontaneously fermented Sour Ales aged for up to 4 years in oak. Then the brewers age it with the forbidden fruit for an additional 6 months, developing tart, earthy, barnyard flavors that build on the palate with each subtly Sour sip.
 
So by all means, take pleasure in this blackcurrant-infused brew and share it with your most discerning Sour-loving friends. Just don’t let word travel too far. Otherwise we’ll have to go all the way to Belgium to find anything that matches its fruity elegance."     Sig Steiger - Tavour.com
